The base is reinforced with 6 mm MDF, with a brushed nylon covering wrapped over the front edge for added durability. The bag is fitted with four protective base feet.

The lid and front panel are reinforced with 1200 µm polypropylene stiffeners, covered with brushed nylon and securely sewn in place.
